Medserv is to invest in the installation of the
first Solar Farm in Malta. The project, entrusted to ElectroFix Energy
Ltd, will be completed by Q2 2014."
Medserv will be utilizing the vast roof space on their warehouses at
their base in the Malta Freeport for this project. The 2.05 MWp
roof-mounted solar farm will consist of a total of 8211 Photovoltaic
Panels. The system will produce an average of 3420 MW hours per year,
and is expected to save 2975.30 metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.
